Just tuck the strap into each like a slip knot, then slide the loop over the ends of the mat. I'll try to get a photo and add it to the website :)

I have a general loom question and haven't figured out where to ask it. I have a Kromski 32 inch rigid heddle loom. I ordered a second heddle and heddle block. Should the second heddle block face the original set up? The positioning of the holes in the frame of the loom require that the heddles face each other when I have them both installed. It's rather hard to move the heddles to upper and lower positions when they face each other. Is there an error in the placement of the mounting holes? If I need to send you a picture, please let me know how to get this figured out. Thank you!!!!!

Hello. If I want to weave like this, how much longer the patternpart must be shared? When it stucks more together than plainweave, is it 2,3 oder perhaps more times longer than the normal weaving?

Hi - I purchased a second hand Forte and the previous owner looped the string to hold the apron rod, but lashed it directly to the front and back beams. How long are the strings that come with the loom. I would like to change the set up to be like the preferred method. Thanks!

Have a suggestion after using my loom for a few years now - they should put the ratchets on the outside of the frame(like Ashforddoes) - I have had my warp get caught up in the ratchets when doing a full warp - it would give better options for using longer warping sticks when using the full length beam.

So, uhm. I have one of these and a three bobbin Kate and I love them, but I'm new to wheels, coming from spindles and wondering: I can get amount X onto a standard bobbin but I can't ply 3 lots of X onto the jumbo bobbin, whereas I can easily ply three full spindles of singles onto one by careful cop winding. Is there some reason I'm missing that there doesnt seem to be such a thing as a bobbin/flyer that will let you ply three full bobbins? Are you supposed to work out how much plied yarn you can fit on a bobbin and spin three bobbins with a third of that? I mostly ask because I *really hate* weaving in ends in my knitting so the longer the yarn I can make the better.
